Biogas - Anaerobic Digestion Biogas - Anaerobic Digestion

Analysis of critical points and plant automation upgrades

All equipment created and proposed by RES in the field of biogas, including machinery it has constructed itself for its own analytical and experimental activities, has always been entirely automated in the Company, both in terms of hardware and software.

Years of experience in providing assistance for biogas plants has led our staff to identify numerous shortcomings and critical points in existing automated systems. There have even been numerous cases of plants devoid of all checks, or with inadequate sensor equipment for the checking of parameters essential for the correct management of anaerobic processes.

Experience in the field of industrial automation coupled with process management skills, have culminated in services with the following objectives:

  • Detect and analyse existing critical points in terms of automation, tele-control, tele-assistance, telemonitoring
  • Study of existing automation systems in order to evaluate, if necessary, revamping, partial, modular or even total replacement
  • Assess the degree of suitability and sufficiency of fitted sensor equipment, propose its substitution and/or integration, with the purpose of achieving a sufficient level of process control to guarantee plant functionality.

Over time the company has become fully aware that optimal performance in anaerobic digestion plants requires: suitable sensor equipment, technical support supplied by highly specialised personnel, and a level of automation which constantly guarantees access and plant control. RES provides complete assistance: from current situation analysis and study to the submission of proposals and fitting of system optimisation features.
