Plant assistance and technical support

Anaerobic digestion plants enable us to exploit the biochemical properties of specific microorganisms to obtain products such as biogas and services such as effluent treatment

The skills and equipment of RES ensure the accurate management and checking of biogas plants, thus maximising production. The company has acquired such experience both through direct relations with construction companies in the biogas sector, as well as technical support services provided to company plant managers, for example in the agricultural/animal husbandry and food farming sectors:
  • Biogas plant in San Gavino Monreale (VS), powered by pig manure and milk serum, with an installed electrical power of 330 kW. Our contribution was requested to increase the reactor's degradation efficiency through the addition of a component for the separation of active bacterial flora from the digestate, for successive recirculation upstream of the primary stage.

  • Biogas plant in San Pietro in Campiano (RA), powered by agricultural biomasses, food farming by-products and bovine liquid manure, characterised by an installed electrical power of 845 kW. The technical assistance and biological process-checking service was carried out through periodic on-site activities, sampling and analysis of matrices and anaerobic sludge, as well as technical support for plant personnel in the management of operations with an effect on the process, to ensure maximum functionality at all times.

  • Biogas plant in Faenza (RA), powered by food farming by-products and effluents, characterised by an installed electrical power of 999 kW. In this case, the anaerobic process is maintained in conditions of thermophily, making it more efficient, albeit more delicate to establish. RES provided technical assistance for the management of a transitory, problematic process. A portable biogas analyser was also supplied.
